Peak travel season in Scandinavia has arrived which means SAS will be removing one of the benefits of EuroBonus gold members during the summer season, again.

They've done this for last year, to put things into context, let me give you a scenario, if one international traveller who came all the way to Norway to go see the fjords up north, and he is willing to pay 5000 NOK just for a short segment, then whoever you are, they are willing to jump you just so they can bring in that revenue, so it most likely will not happen to many people, but they've never informed anyone about the change, I can't help think there could be other intentions involved.

The benefits they are taking away for the period from June 15 until August 15, 2018 in the summer are stated as follows on their website:
"Guaranteed seat, not class with a ticket in C if booked at least 48 hours before departure with SAS and Wideroe* and at least 24 hours before departure with SAS between Stockholm - Gothenburg/Malmö and domestic flights in Norway with Wideroe*."
What's your take on this change?
